Scope
Provide customer service to all employees; maintenance of HR records and documentation related to compensation, benefits, training, and payroll. Perform duties associated with hiring and new hire orientation. Assists HR Manager with HR duties and provides employees with information and answers to HR-related questions. Applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action under a moderate level of guidance and direction.
- Data entry into HRIS system (ADP) and responsibility for data integrity
- Assists with policy interpretation, development and implementation
- Responsible for tracking employee attendance and issuing corrective actions
- Assists with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, retention
- Conducts exit interviews
- Manages the Learning Management System (LMS/Planet) and employees’ training records, including required training and completed training
- Coordinates and delivers specific training
- Manages the hourly employees’ provisionary and annual review process
- Promotes and supports the Company’s recognition programs and community involvement, including the service award program
- Provides support for employee relations investigations
- Other duties as required
Requires steel-toed safety shoes, eye protection and hair covering required in all production and maintenance areas
- Office environment
- Limited lifting
- Limited nose exposure when required to be on the plant floor
- Working knowledge of HR systems, including ADP and Planet
- Ability to solve complex problems (auditing)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or other related field required
- 3-5 years of related HR experience
